At Mendon Village Animal Hospital, we are honored to be part of some of your family’s biggest moments, from the very first visit to the last.

We work hard to lessen the fear and stress that often accompany veterinary visits.

Each of our veterinarians and veterinary technicians are licensed to practice in New York State.
Here at Mendon Village Animal Hospital ALL of our team members are not only encouraged but required to attend continuing education.

One of my dogs has recently been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Dr. Richenstein has gone over and above my expectations with his kindness and care. One of Tebow’s biopsy sites is not healing for whatever reason, and Dr. Gluckman, and Dr. Williamson have been there for us when it has reopened and I have been in a panic. I know that all of Mendon Village Animal Hospital will be there for us through Tebow’s treatment journey and just knowing that truly helps. Mendon offers such individual care and was exactly what we were looking for when we decided to switch vet practices.

If you want superior care for your pet and a meaningful relationship with their veterinarian this is the place for you. I have had all my animals under their care. We have lost two dogs to old age and they were so tender with there last moments of life. We also lost a cat to liver cancer at 14 years of age and they were so good at explaining what our options were. I have another golden retriever and she just loves going to the doctor. All of our animals live very full life's and I feel that it is because of their good care.
I've been bringing my cats and dog here. When my old cats and dog were sick and now passed away, they treated us so well. Now my new kittens are going here.
I've been to several vet hospitals and I have chosen to stay with this one because of their knowledge, kind atmosphere and their sincere desire to help our cats.
As our hospital continues to work together to limit the spread the COVID-19 virus, we’d like to take a moment to provide you with precautions our hospital is taking to ensure the safety of our patients, clients and employees.
Updated Hours
Our hospital will be open from:
8am-5pm on Monday – Wednesday
8am-5pm on Thursday
8am-5pm on Friday
8am-12pm Every Other Saturday
We are closed on Sunday
Appointments
When you arrive for your pet(s) appointment please enter the building. We now have a separate check-in desk (located at the pickup window area). After entering the 2nd set of doors to the building the check-in desk is located to the left side of the reception room. We will allow ONE client to accompany their pet(s) inside. Masks are strongly encouraged in the exam rooms but not required at this time. Unfortunately, due to limitations on space and our ability to maintain proper distances, we still cannot allow children to join you inside.
We are still happy to provide curbside care if you would prefer to remain in your vehicle. Simply let us know when you arrive if this is your preference.
When your pet(s) examination is complete we ask that you exit the exam room and take a seat in the waiting area, when your invoice is complete one of our Client Care Coordinators will ask you to come to the desk to complete the checkout process.
